Our Commitments

Six commitments to owners and their employees, signed by the principals and published so they can be reviewed with counsel.

Commitments

These commitments are set out in writing and signed below.

This page is formatted for printing and for review with a spouse, a lawyer, or a foreman.

  1. The business keeps its name. This is set by written policy, not preference or discretion.
  2. We provide benefits to employees from Day one. Coverage begins on the day the transaction closes.
  3. We do not alter what customers value. Back-office changes come first, always.
  4. The seller keeps a stake in the business whenever the structure provides for one. It is not an earn-out or a contingent promise. Its size and terms are set before closing, in writing.
  5. The seller retains control of the handoff. Its pace and shape are set out in the closing agreements.
  6. We hold acquired businesses rather than reselling them. There is no fund clock requiring an exit. Any future change occurs under the terms of the signed agreements.
